Bullying is a serious problem. Anyone who discounts it has no idea how much damage it can do to the self-esteem of a child. Child and teen suicide rates are increasing at an alarming rate. Many can be traced back to physical or verbal attacks made by other children. Cyberbullying has become the biggest threat of all. It enables bullies to reach out on social media, through videos, and by texts in order to pick on their victims. In the past, bullying ended when a child left school. Today, it follows them everywhere. They can’t escape it unless they disconnect. It’s time more people joined together in an anti-bullying campaign to end the torment.

Treat Others the Way You Want to be Treated

Parents and teachers encourage children to follow the Golden Rule, to treat others with kindness. Unfortunately, there are many children who do not follow what they were taught. An anti-bullying campaign is a way to educate and bring awareness to these issues. You can start a movement that will have a ripple effect. All you need to do is post your statement against bullying on a virtual platform. Encourage others to join you. Read messages from others who feel the same way you do.

Share Love, Not Hate

Bullies pick on those who are vulnerable, many victims of bullying are unable or scared to stand up for themselves. By making your voice heard and spreading the message of tolerance you can help provide a voice and support to those who may not be able to do it themselves.
